Attorney Christine Fuhrman Konzel
 Christine Fuhrman Konzel, Esquire,
joined the firm
of Shapira, Hutzelman, Berlin, Ely, Smith & Walsh, concentrating her practice in the area of
criminal defense. Attorney Konzel has been a practicing attorney for the past thirty years. She is
a native of Erie County who graduated from Penn State University and Duquesne University
School of Law. She comes to the firm from the Erie County District Attorney's Office where she
served as a prosecuting attorney since 2006. Prior to that she worked in the Erie County Public
Defenders Office and was appointed Chief Public Defender for Erie County from 2000 through
2005. She has also practiced in Allegheny (Pittsburgh), Lycoming (Williamsport), and Dauphin
(Harrisburg) counties in Pennsylvania. Attorney Konzel has appeared before the Pennsylvania
Superior Court, and all the Common Pleas Judges and District Justices in Erie County. She is
also admitted to practice in federal court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. She welcomes
new clients.
